Worked Based Qualification

Our work-based qualifications are all Government Funded for your employees of any age, and lead to a Nationally recognised qualifications. These vocational qualifications are a great way for your people to gain recognition for the work they do and also boost morale and motive them to learn more and develop.

These qualifications are all delivered by a personal TFT assessor who will visit your employees on your premises, at a time to suit your business. Our assessors all have hands on travel experience as well as training qualifications so you can rest assured that your employees are in safe hands.

To gain the qualification, learners must prove they can perform their role knowledgably, competently and efficiently. The qualifications are made up of units, written specifically for your business the industry it belongs to. You will select those units most relevant to your employees and your business, so the programmes really are tailor-made for you. These units are then assessed through observation, feedback and discussion so that assessment is quick and unobtrusive.

In addition, each programme incorporates several exams in Key Skills (unless exempt) and the relevant course knowledge exam. This will confirm learners’ underpinning knowledge of their role and the industry and will also develop Communication and Number skills if required. Training For Travel will always encourage their learners to unlock their own potential.

We generally say each programmes lasts between 6 and 9 months, depending on the experience of the learner, the time and effort they put into it and with the continuous help and support from their employer. All programmes are built around the individual so that everyone works at a pace they are comfortable with.
